How To Get A Tablet Out Of Demo Mode

my son was playing on his tablet when the word DEMO in large red messages popped onto his screen he doesnt know how or why how do i fix this??

Welcome to Android Central! What device is it? Did you buy it make new, or was information technology used, or a flooring model? Does the word Demo appear on all screens, or merely in certain apps?
The device is probably a floor model that was sold as is. You could try looking through all of the system settings to run across if there is an pick to turn off Demo Manner, or yous could go to Settings>Apps>All and see if in that location is an app chosen "Demo." If at that place is, tap information technology and tap Disable.
The other option is to do a factory reset, and see if that helps. All data will be wiped from the device, though, so backup or sync whatsoever personal information.

In that location is no APP chosen DEMO. It is on EVERY ******* SCREEN. It merely appeared out of ******* nowhere. I've disabled all things that say DEMO on it. Notwithstanding is ******* there. This is pissing me off so bad...I didn't order a floor model from ******* Amazon.

There is no APP called DEMO. Information technology is on EVERY ******* SCREEN. Information technology only appeared out of ******* nowhere. I've disabled all things that say DEMO on it. Still is ******* there. This is pissing me off and so bad...I didn't lodge a floor model from ******* Amazon.

Did y'all buy the device brand new from Amazon itself, or from the Amazon Market place? The latter is comprised of independent sellers who may be more probable to sell you a refurbished or flooring model without telling you.

Welcome to Android Central! I'll pose the same question to yous--where did you buy your tablet? If it wasn't brand new from a well-established retailer, there's more take a chance that it's a used/refurbished unit, or perhaps a floor model. Floor models might have a special demo ROM installed.

What's a door sales group? You lot mean they go door-to-door trying to sell devices? I'd accept to guess that your device was a demo floor model that was never meant to exist sold to the public, but somehow got acquired past a company, who thought they could sell it easily.

You hateful the company that sold it to you lot? Yes, I'd contact them and meet if they would supplant it or refund you lot. In club to set up information technology, you'd probably have to root information technology and flash the stock ROM--the challenge would be finding the stock ROM somewhere, since your device isn't very common.

Some carriers have devices that automatically register with them, and are demo units. Demo software will automatically load. Or if you can admission the settings, get to security, and await for & select Plan Administrators (yours may say just Administrator, or close to it). Is there a Demo checked on? If there us, uncheck. Then become dorsum to settings, Applications, see if you tin can find come across a Demo app, or something close to that running...select it and chose uninstall? If non y'all should return the device.

I had the same problem so I contacted the manufacturer and they suggested that I UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE. This SOLVED the problem. Skilful Luck

That would make sense, since the demo mode was likely due to specific demo ROM that was installed for the store. The trick would be to upgrade the firmware for an off-brand device that had minimal support ...

Demo fashion is function of the Daydream arrangement in Android, which is similar a screen saver. Settings/Brandish/Daydream. There's a slider there that volition disable Daydream, or you can select some other pick to display in Daydream mode. I call up the only time Fantasize will kick in, is when the device is actually plugged into a power source. Demo mode isn't there on my LG/G2, simply it's an option on my RCA tablet.
